Conversion Audit Service

Conversion Implementation Service

The Conversion Implementation Services is a strategic, repeatable, onshore-offshore service that can be easily adapted to your specific environment, usage and business requirements. We have contributed significant intellectual property to build the Conversion Implementation Roadmap, a new component of the Cognos SIM.

The Cognos Conversion Service utilizes the Conversion Implementation Roadmap, following a hybrid conversion approach - some elements are converted using a Lift and Shift approach where redundancy is eliminated but the core elements of the reports are converted unchanged. Other elements require a more detailed strategic Compress and Optimize conversion, where improvements using new technology in Cognos 8 BI are applied to improve their effectiveness. This hybrid approach delivers the most effective results and leads to a greatly improved BI solution.
