Validate Cognos Environment using IBM Cognos Upgrade Manager
During the lifecycle of your IBM Cognos 8 application you may need to update IBM Cognos 8 with a Service Pack, Fix Pack, hotsite or other IBM Cognos updater. In any of these cases, report validation is a must. This is where IBM Cognos Upgrade Manager can help.
IBM Cognos Upgrade Manager was developed to help validate reports between 2 different versions of IBM Cognos products but we can regression test a report using 2 different locations for the dispatcher.
The summary view is exportable to a flash file which can then be distributed. The flash file is fully interactive and gives you the ability to see notes and individual report statuses.
